About

Top NGO Jobs Portal is a search layer for the NGO, non-profit and international development sector. It brings listings from many job boards into one place, makes them searchable, and sends you to the original posting to apply.

It is not an application platform. There is no account to create, no profile to fill in and no CV to upload, because none of that would help you get a job here — every application is made on the employer’s own site. Listings remain the property of their original publishers, and each one credits and links to its source.

How the index is built

  1. 01

    Gather

A scheduled job reads public feeds from NGO and humanitarian job boards. Sources that disallow automated access in their robots.txt or terms are not touched.

  2. 02

    Normalise

Every listing is mapped into one shape: title, organisation, countries, contract type, sector, posted date, closing date and a cleaned description.

  3. 03

    Deduplicate

The same role is often posted to several boards with reworded titles. Matching organisation, country and closing date merges them into one record, keeping the other links.

  4. 04

    Publish

Listings are sorted by recency, and anything past its closing date is marked closed and hidden by default. Nothing is invented to fill space.

Where listings come from

Sources are added only where a public feed or API exists and the site’s terms permit automated reading. Boards that disallow it are left alone, even when their listings would be useful.

More sources are being assessed. Each one has to clear the same test: a public feed, terms that permit it, and a polite request rate.
